Booking & Payment Terms
Deposit Requirements
To initiate any travel planning or reservation process, Mizienne Travel requires a **non-refundable deposit**, the amount of which will be specified at the time of your quote or itinerary approval. This deposit confirms your interest and allows us to begin securing accommodations, flights, and other services with our global partners.
Final Payment
**All bookings must be paid in full no later than sixty (60) calendar days prior to the scheduled travel date.** This includes all trip components such as flights, accommodations, transfers, activities, and optional services.
Final payment deadlines will be clearly stated in your confirmation email or travel proposal. It is your responsibility to ensure payment is made by the due date.
Booking Confirmation & Payment Processing
Travel arrangements are not considered confirmed or guaranteed until:
1. The required deposit has been received,
2. A signed or submitted confirmation form has been returned, and
3. **The total balance has been paid in full** within the stated timeframe.
If full payment is not received by the deadline:
- Mizienne Travel reserves the right to cancel any reservations or services
- Your deposit may be forfeited depending on supplier terms
- Rates and availability are subject to change without notice
Accepted Payment Methods
Mizienne Travel accepts the following payment methods:
- Credit or debit card via Stripe or PayPal
- ACH transfer (upon request for U.S. clients)
- International clients: Additional methods may be arranged upon request
We do not accept cash, checks, or bank wire transfers without prior written agreement.
Payment Plan Availability
For select trips or group travel, Mizienne Travel may offer a **structured payment plan**. All payment plans will:
- Be outlined in writing
- Include exact installment due dates
- Require final payment by 60 days prior to departure unless otherwise stated
Booking Timeline & Urgent Reservations
Bookings made **within 60 days of departure** must be paid in full at the time of confirmation. In such cases, availability and pricing are subject to immediate change until secured.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations by the Client
All cancellations must be submitted to Mizienne Travel in writing. The date of receipt will determine any applicable cancellation fees.
Unless otherwise stated in your package terms, the following general cancellation policy applies:
- Cancellations made more than 60 days before travel: **Deposit is non-refundable**
- Cancellations made 30–60 days before travel: **50% of total package cost is non-refundable**
- Cancellations made less than 30 days before travel: **100% of total package cost is non-refundable**
**Certain hotel, airline, or third-party supplier penalties may be more restrictive and will override our general terms.**
Cancellations by Mizienne Travel or Supplier
In rare cases where a supplier (e.g., resort, airline, tour operator) cancels or significantly alters a trip, Mizienne Travel will make every effort to:
- Offer an alternative of equal or greater value
- Assist in processing refunds if available
Mizienne Travel is not responsible for costs incurred due to supplier default, weather disruptions, acts of God, or force major events beyond our control.
Refund Policy
All deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Refunds on remaining balances (if any) are subject to the cancellation timeline, supplier terms, and any applicable service fees.
Processing time for eligible refunds is typically **7–14 business days**.
Airfare Terms & Conditions
At Mizienne Travel, we work with airline consolidators to provide access to competitive airfare rates for international and domestic travel. By booking airfare through us, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Third-Party Issuance
Airline tickets are issued through a third-party consolidator and not directly through the airline. As such, all airfare is subject to the policies and conditions of the consolidator and the operating carrier.
2. Fare Restrictions
Consolidator fares may carry more restrictions than publicly available fares. These may include:
- Non-refundable and non-changeable tickets
- Limited seat selection or no advance seat assignment
- Separate baggage fees
- No eligibility for frequent flyer miles or upgrades
3. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds
All ticket changes, reissues, and cancellations are subject to the airline’s and the consolidator's specific fare rules. Some tickets may be:
- Fully non-refundable
- Subject to reissue/change penalties
- Limited in date or routing flexibility
Mizienne Travel will assist with requests, but is not responsible for fees or denials imposed by the airline or consolidator.
4. Name Accuracy
Passenger names must match their government-issued ID or passport exactly. Once ticketed, name corrections may not be permitted and may result in the loss of the ticket value or rebooking at the traveler’s expense.
5. Airline Schedule Changes
Mizienne Travel is not responsible for airline schedule changes, delays, or cancellations. Clients are advised to monitor their itineraries directly with the airline and confirm flight times 24–48 hours before departure.
6. Baggage, Seating, and Check-in
Checked baggage allowances, seat selection, and boarding policies vary by carrier. Travelers are responsible for reviewing the airline’s terms prior to departure.
7. Service Fees
Mizienne Travel may charge a non-refundable service fee for airfare research, ticketing, or modifications. This fee is separate from any consolidator or airline penalties.
8. Travel Insurance Notice
Mizienne Travel highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes coverage for airfare cancellations, interruptions, or missed connections. We strongly encourages all clients to purchase **comprehensive travel insurance** that includes:
- Trip cancellation/interruption
- Medical coverage (domestic and international)
- Travel delays and lost luggage
It is the traveler’s responsibility to obtain and understand their policy. Mizienne Travel is not liable for uncovered losses due to lack of insurance.
